New York State Medicaid Community Health Worker Benefit

This is the first in a series of town halls on the New York State Medicaid Community Health Worker Benefit on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, from 2:00-3:30pm. This 90‑minute virtual session will bring together Medicaid CHW billing providers, healthcare organizations, and community health workers for an overview of the NYS Medicaid CHW benefit. Jennifer Boutin Mane and Heather Jordan from the NYS Department of Health will present on CHW policy, followed by insights from Renée Whiskey‑Lalanne of Montefiore Medical Center and Alessandra Calvo‑Friedman of NYC Health + Hospitals on their experiences implementing CHW billing. The presentations will conclude with a Q&A session.
