How to Become a CHW: Training & Employment

Pre-register for Virtual Training Program with CLG-CHWI, organized by the New Jersey Department of Health (NJDOH) here

Watch for an email from CLG-CHWI. When a cohort opens, they will send a registration for specific cohort date/time
-
Attend a 17-week or accelerated 8-week course that consists of 13 core competencies covered through 130 hours of classroom instruction, 8 required supplemental skill building sessions, and 240 hours of on-the-job-training
NJDOH will cover related classroom instruction costs for all participants accepted into the CLG-CHWI training program.
