Food Safety and Disease Prevention Training for CHWs

Join the Colette Lamonthe-Galette Community Health Worker Institute on September 24, 2025 (10 AM to 11:30 AM) for a supplemental skill building session. This session will introduce the basics of food safety and highlight the importance of preventing foodborne diseases. By the end of the training, participants will know about common foodborne illnesses and related symptoms, recognize potential food safety risks, and help implement effective practices to protect themselves and their communities.
