Diabetes 101 for Community Health Workers

In partnership with the New Jersey Department of Health and the Colette Lamothe-Galette Community Health Worker Institute, Camden Coalition presents Diabetes 101 for Community Health Workers on May 4, 6, 8, 2026 from 10 am to 12 pm.

This three-part training series equips CHWs with essential skills to support community members at risk for or living with diabetes. Gain foundational knowledge, practical tools and strategies for diabetes prevention, management, and self-advocacy. CHWs must attend all sessions to earn a Certificate of Completion.
