Vaccines & Pregnancy

January 12, 2026 at 10 AM to 12 PM

Participants will learn practical strategies for addressing common vaccine questions, promoting vaccination, and countering misinformation. The session will also provide a brief overview of vaccines recommended for babies before age two and highlight trusted resources to support families and communities. Men's & Women's Health (Spanish)

La presentación explorará las necesidades y desafíos de salud únicos que enfrentan hombres y mujeres, destacando los factores biológicos, psicológicos y sociales que influyen en su bienestar. Discutiremos problemas de salud comunes, como enfermedades cardiovasculares, trastornos de salud mental y salud reproductiva, al tiempo que enfatizaremos la importancia de la atención preventiva y la intervención temprana. La sesión también abordará el papel de las elecciones de estilo de vida, las expectativas sociales y el acceso a la atención médica en la formación de los resultados de salud. We will discuss common health issues, such as cardiovascular disease, mental health disorders, and reproductive health, while emphasizing the importance of preventative care and early intervention. The session will also address the role of lifestyle choices, societal expectations, and healthcare access in shaping health outcomes. Attendees will leave with a better understanding of gender-specific health concerns and strategies for promoting health equity in their communities. School Health

January 26, 2026 at 10:30 AM to 12 PM

In collaboration with the Colette Lamothe-Galette Community Health Worker Institute (CLG-CHWI), this training will provide an overview of the NJ Department of Health's School Health Program. School Health NJ or The Whole School, Whole Community, Whole Child (WSCC) grant emphasizes that each child, in each school, in each community deserves to be healthy, safe, engaged, supported and challenged.
