Blood Cancer in the Black Community: Engaging in Your Health to Build a Better You

This message serves to inform you about an upcoming patient and community education program, Blood Cancer in the Black Community: Engaging in Your Health to Build a Better YOU! being hosted by Blood Cancer United, in partnership with Rutgers Cancer Institute, University Hospital and Choose Healthy Life.  This FREE, in-person program will take place on Tuesday, April 22, 2026 from 6:00-8:30pm at the Hilton Newark Airport.


Patients, their caregivers, and community members are welcome to attend this FREE education event, but registration is required.  In addition to learning about the individual program topic, attendees will also learn more about the educational information, emotional support, and financial assistance that Blood Cancer United has to offer those impacted by blood cancer. Healthcare professionals are welcome to attend as well although continuing education credit will not be provided.
